Dottie spent years working for a number of Federal Agencies, while working for the Department of the Interior she became a member of the Department of the Interior

Toastmasters Club, achieving the "Distinguish Toastmaster" (DTM) Award. She also served as one of the highly sought after EEO Counselor, a founding member of the Dept. of the Interior's National Assoc. of Black Federal Employees (NABFE), a member of Blacks in Government, A member of the PG Chapter of NCNW, Member of the Levitical Voices of Ebenezer Choir, Ft. Washington, MD. under the renowned Choir Director, Dr. Ricky Dillard.

Since Dottie retired from the Federal Government after 40 years, she became a founding member of Divine Women With a Purpose (DWWAP), a Ministry that serves God's people. She also enjoys serving as a Notary and enjoys traveling!
